Meitzner tells other counties: the virus can spread quickly

Some rural Kansas communities are now getting hit hard by COVID 19. Sedgwick County Commission Chair Pete Meitzner tells KNSS News "lot of counties ignored the pandemic". He says we've learned that it's a virus that spreads easily and "can spread quickly".

At Wednesday's meeting, the Sedgwick County Commission will again look at distributing money from the federal CARES Act fund to local businesses. Meitzner tells says they're working from a 99 million-dollar grant package.
